Leadership West Orange, presented by Florida Hospital Winter Garden and Duke Energy, is an annual program that brings a group of Chamber members together for a variety of sessions. These sessions are held monthly and the primary mission is to raise the awareness of the key segments of the total West Orange community. Days are a combination of lectures, tours, hands-on experience and behind-the-scenes activities. Contact the Chamber about cost and enrollment.
The West Orange Adult Leadership program began in 1994 and has been experienced by more than 400 local leaders. The mission of the Leadership West Orange program is to raise the awareness of the key segments of the local community; “To educate business leaders to better serve the West Orange community; To develop leaders and build a quality community.” The education of our future leaders is very important in preserving our past, embracing our present and the visioning and planning of our future. Each month the class focused on a certain aspect of West Orange County. The class examines the environment, economic development, government, media, health care and education by participating in a field trip once a month.
