Location: Windermere Town Square

The 6th Annual Treebute will take place Saturday, Jan. 16, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Town Square. This year’s theme is focused on diversifying the local urban forest with unusual Florida native trees for planting, fostering education, appreciation and care for trees. There is also a tree climb that allows children and adults to experience the wonder of tree climbing with the supervision of professional arborists and the safety of tree climbing ropes, harnesses and helmets. The cost is $20 for climbing and includes use of safety gear and helmet, supervision by certified arborists and Treebute T-shirt. Proceeds from the tree climb go toward the Arbor Day trees fund for the Windermere Tree Board.
