ESPN Wide World of Sports has proudly been selected to be the host venue for the Invictus Games Orlando 2016 presented by Jaguar Land Rover.  The Invictus Games, the vision of Prince Harry, made its debut in 2014 in London. The Invictus Games are the only international adaptive sporting event for injured active duty and veteran service members. The Games use the power of sport to inspire recovery, support rehabilitation and generate a wider understanding and respect of all those who serve their country as well as their families and caregivers. More than 500 competitors from up to 14 nations will compete in archery, cycling, indoor rowing, power lifting, sitting volleyball, swimming, track and field, wheelchair basketball, wheelchair rugby and wheelchair tennis.  This event will involve more than 500 injured active duty and veteran service members competing for their nations. We are honored to host these 14 different nations, competing in 10 different sports from May 8th to 12th, 2016.The event was featured on Good Morning America – below is the clip that really helps paint a great picture of how special this event is for so many.
