The iconic Florida Citrus Bowl has long played a major role in Central Florida's sports industry, but the recent reconstruction of the landmark facility has taken the building and associated events to new heights. The venue, now named Camping World Stadium, has played host to the NFL Pro Bowl, Buffalo Wild Wings Citrus Bowl, Russell Athletic Bowl, Florida Blue Florida Classic, Florida Citrus Parade, world-class soccer matches and countless other Central Florida-based events generating economic impact, and ultimately benefiting at-risk children and educational initiatives.
Join us for Business Before Hours on August 10 at the Ocoee Lakeshore Center to hear from Steve Hogan, CEO of Florida Citrus Sports. Hogan and his team worked tirelessly alongside community leaders for nearly a decade to secure the necessary financing to rejuvenate the stadium as a multi-purpose venue attracting marquee events. He is regarded as being the “quarterback” who brought together leaders from the public and private sector to convince the NFL to move the Pro Bowl to "The City Beautiful," and make it a week-long celebration.
