MUSICFEST CELEBRATES 10TH ANNIVERSARY, OCTOBER 9-11
Performers Bring Sounds to Street Corners, Alleyways, and Indoors with a New Twist on MusicFest 2015
The Winter Garden Heritage Foundation is proud to present the 10th Annual MusicFest, which will take place Friday-Sunday, October 9-11, 2015 on the streets of historic downtown Winter Garden. Celebrating its 10th year, MusicFest is a free three-day musical event showcasing a diverse collection of Florida’s finest musicians and exposing the community their music styles. Music-lovers will enjoy such acts as Johnny Dee and the Starlights, the Jonnie Morgan Band, and the popular Celtic-fusion band Off Kilter, who just ended an 18-year run at Disney’s Epcot. A full schedule of musical talent will be provided when finalized.
In addition to a variety of musical acts rotating on two outdoor stages, musicians will also have scheduled performances at several indoor establishments, and street performances will bring the audience closer than ever to the music. MusicFest boasts more than 20 different music genres that have include: Country, Jazz, Blues, Americana, Classic Rock, Southern Rock, Bluegrass, Alternative, Pop, Folk, Classical, Opera, Musical Theater, Choral, R&B, Zydeco, Native American, Japanese, African, and Celtic.
Known for its quaint shops and great restaurants, historic downtown Winter Garden is the backdrop for the event. Over 20,000 year-round residents, busloads of day visitors and seasonal guests fill the lovely downtown shops, streets and alleyways of this unique village in Central Florida, only 15 miles west of downtown Orlando.
