The West Orange Chamber of Commerce announced the hire of Susan Steeves as its new Executive Assistant and Office Manager. Susan recently relocated with her husband and three children to Winter Garden from Connecticut. There she had worked as the Executive Assistant to the CEO, President and Vice President of Basement Systems, Inc. She also helped organize the training events for the company’s more than 345 dealers from six different countries, as well as local events for the 320+ employees ranging from holiday parties to community events.
Susan is no stranger to a Chamber of Commerce. For the past several years, she was involved with the Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce back in Connecticut. She also helped lead the Young Emerging Professionals Group, a committee of the GVCC, while her husband was the Chairman.

I am a strong believer in the value of community involvement, whether it is professionally or personally through my children’s sports or school groups. Even though I am new to the area, I’m familiar with the West Orange Chamber’s reputation as one of the most prestigious chambers in Florida, and I’m looking forward to being a part of it all and helping our community thrive.”
