Clermont City Center
Over the last several months, the East Central Florida Regional Planning Council, Council Sub Committee and Steering Committee have been working to develop a structure, framework and memorandum of understanding to establish a regional resilience collaborative. The East Central Florida Regional Resilience Collaborative (ECFR2C), was formalized May 15th by the Regional Planning Council and provides an opportunity for a shared vision to increase and amplify our collective impact potential. Under the resilience umbrella, three pillars have been identified: (people) Health + Equity, (places) Built Infrastructure + Natural Environment, and (prosperity) Economic Resilience. Woven throughout those pillars will be a focus to reduce carbon emissions, risks and vulnerabilities and increase sustainability efforts.
As we engage local jurisdictions and agencies across the region to join the collaborative, we would like to hear from you. Please RSVP below to attend one of the workshops and help to identify appropriate regional priorities and initiatives within the three pillars.
Please join Steve Adams, from the Institute for Sustainable Communities to provide perspective and assist East Central Florida as we begin to define our collaborative ecosystem.
