At the recent Aimbridge Hospitality National Sales Conference in Dallas, TX the 80-room Fairfield Inn & Suites Hotel by Marriott Orlando Ocoee was awarded the coveted President’s Award for tops in their significant increase of Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR) from 2017 to 2018.
According to Bob Marx, General Manager of the Aimbridge managed property, “this award is significant in that it recognizes our achievement in both occupancy and guest room rate.” Revenue Per Available Room is the standard by which hotel profitability is measured.
Says Marx, “our hotel was not only surprised by this award, but honored to be in the top 1% of the 500 plus Select Service brand hotels owned and/or managed by Aimbridge. Our team does an extraordinary job of managing the hospitality experience and it shows in our average monthly occupancy of 87%.”
The Fairfield Inn & Suites Orlando Ocoee was initially opened as a Marriott Courtyard hotel over 15 years ago and transitioned to the highly successful Fairfield brand some seven years ago. Aimbridge Hospitality, based in Plano, TX owns and/or manages over 900 first class hotel properties throughout the U.S. and Caribbean covering all of the major hotel brands both in full and select service properties.
