By Joe Alarie, WOCC Chairman

Fall has finally arrived here in West Orange County and the winds of change are bringing excitement to the area. We hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. With shopping season underway, we ask that you continue to support our local small businesses and Chamber members when you are out searching for deals and picking up gifts. If you are looking for an easy way to locate Chamber businesses while you’re out and about, you are in luck! The West Orange Chamber business directory is conveniently available for quick access, whether on your computer or while on the go. Click here to access the directory.

Now that the election season has officially concluded, we would like to congratulate all of the winners who will be leading our community into the next several years. The West Orange Political Alliance (WOPA), the political arm of the Chamber, celebrated victories for its endorsed candidates and causes in many races. These candidates and causes were selected due to the belief that they will be the best fit to lead the rapidly growing West Orange business community. To see the full list, click here.

As we prepare to wrap up a successful 2018, you will not want to miss one of the Chamber’s signature events, the Member Appreciation Brunch. Join us on Thursday, December 13 at Valencia College West Campus, as I will be passing the gavel to our incoming Chairman of the Board, Tim Haberkamp of Hardee’s. We will also celebrate our incoming and outgoing board members, and most importantly, the hundreds of members that make the West Orange Chamber strong and successful. Click here to RSVP for the event.
