The West Orange Chamber of Commerce (WOCC) today announced the joining of its newest Supporting Trustees, Jewett Orthopaedic Clinic and WellCare. As both companies establish new offices in West Orange County, they welcome the opportunity to get involved with their growing communities.
Jewett Orthopaedic Clinic recently announced that West Orange Orthopedics, which has served the community since 1966 and includes W. Kevin Cox, MD; Jose A. Torres, MD; Matthew D. Hurbanis, MD; and Randall T. Rust, MD, has joined its group effective July 1, 2015.
“With West Orange Orthopaedics becoming a part of the Jewett family, we are excited about joining the West Orange Chamber of Commerce as a Supporting Trustee and continuing and growing the relationship they have enjoyed with the chamber and business community for many years,” said Jewett Orthopedic Clinic Marketing Director Allan Sansom. “Jewett Orthopedic Clinic has a tradition of community that spans almost 80 years. We have always believed in giving back and getting involved in the communities we serve.”
Fellow Supporting Trustee, WellCare, recently expanded its distinguished Welcome Room, a health care facility, open to the public, where WellCare associates are available to answer questions about Medicare and Medicaid.
“As West Orlando’s population grows, we are proud to bring this brick and mortar location to the Pine Hills area where many of our members live and work,” said Joey Anselmo, director, East Coast WellCare of Florida. “This Welcome Room provides a new resource that will make health information more easily accessible within the community.”
The Supporting Trustee program, a byproduct of the hugely successful Community Trustee program founded in 1998, offers abundant brand exposure, access to key business and political leaders, and the opportunity to unite with the West Orange Chamber to prepare and develop local businesses and the community for “a better tomorrow.”
