National Night Out – City of Ocoee


EVENT SUMMARY

The Ocoee Police Department will host a National Night Out event on Tuesday, October 3 from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. at Bill Breeze Park, 125 North Lakeshore Drive. The free event, held nationwide in 17,000 communities, is meant to promote a community and police partnership by bringing officers and neighbors together in a relaxed and fun environment.

More than a dozen vendors will be set up offering free giveaways and information. The vendors include VMG Construction; McCoy Federal Credit Union; Celsius Energy Drinks; Evolve Church; Texas Roadhouse; Ocoee Police Department Training Unit; Ocoee Police Department K-9 Unit; Ocoee Police Department Recruitment Team; Ocoee Police Department Community Engagement Team; Ocoee Fire Department Station 25; Orange County Sheriff’s Office Crimeline; Andy’s Frozen Custard; West Oaks Library; Florida Fish and Wildlife; Orlando Emergency Response Team and Ocoee Pediatrics.

Families can enjoy several fun activities including a WeFlip acrobatic show; face painting; gaming truck; mechanical bull (adults); music; bounce house; axe throwing (adults) and cornhole contest. Savory and sweet food truck treats will be available for purchase from Chuck N Wings; Jour de Crepe; The Real Main Lobster; SMAC Food Truck and Pelican’s Sno-Balls.
