Winter Garden, FL – June 13, 2025 – The West Orange Chamber of Commerce proudly hosted its annual Celebrating Leadership professional development luncheon on June 5, 2025, at the Ocoee Lakeshore Event Center, honoring the 2024–2025 graduating class of the West Orange Foundation’s Leadership West Orange program, presented by AdventHealth and Duke Energy, aptly named Change of Plans.

This signature event brought together community leaders, Chamber partners, and local businesses to recognize the achievements of 26 professionals who completed the Leadership West Orange program. Representing industries and organizations from across the region, this year’s class spent months exploring the economic drivers, civic challenges, and leadership opportunities unique to our community.

Keynote speaker Former Congresswoman Val Demings delivered a powerful and inspiring message, challenging attendees to lead with courage, resilience, and a spirit of service. Her presence elevated the celebration, reinforcing the value of leadership at every level of the community.

The event featured networking, a formal program, and a heartfelt graduation ceremony recognizing the accomplishments of the Change of Plans class, named in honor of the adaptability, growth, and perseverance demonstrated by this year’s cohort.

This year’s luncheon was presented by AdventHealth and Duke Energy, with photography sponsored by Legacy Media Studio.

The Celebrating Leadership luncheon continues to serve as a reminder of the West Orange Chamber’s commitment to cultivating informed, empowered, and engaged leaders who will help shape the future of our community.
