On Friday, November 14, 2025, the West Orange Chamber of Commerce’s Economic and Governmental Advocacy Committee (EGAC) hosted the West Orange legislative delegation at its “Coffee & A Conversation with the West Orange Legislative Delegation” event. The coffee was held at the Winter Garden Heritage Museum’s Heller Hall at the Healthy West Orange Heritage and Cultural Center. The center offered legislators, the Chamber’s Board of Directors, the West Orange Political Alliance, mayors and town managers from local West Orange municipalities, and EGAC committee members an intimate setting where participants had candid conversations with the panelists.

Panelists shared their legislative priorities for the upcoming legislative session, which begins on January 13, 2026. Additionally, the West Orange Chamber of Commerce presented its 2026 legislative priorities, which may be found on the Chamber’s website. Panelists were State Senator LaVon Bracy Davis, District 15; State Senator Keith Truenow, District 13; Representative Bruce Antone, District 41; Representative Doug Bankson, District 39; Representative Rita Harris, District 44; and Representative RaShon Young, District 40.

“Being able to present the Chamber’s top legislative priorities-and to hear firsthand the priorities of our legislators-is invaluable. These conversations help align our efforts and ensure we’re collectively supporting a strong, competitive environment for businesses and the communities we serve”, President & CEO Stephen Lewis said.
