AdventHealth is working aggressively to prepare for any potential surge as a result of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Our number one priority is ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our patients, team members and our community at large.

AdventHealth Central Florida Division has a robust network of care in Orange, Osceola, Lake, Seminole, Polk, Flagler and Volusia counties. We are working side by side with local government emergency management teams to fill our critical needs – from masks, to personal protective equipment, to swabs, to additional medical personnel.  As the federal government provides increased aid to healthcare system preparedness, we need to ensure Central Florida gets its fair share.  We are doing everything we can to prepare, from creating temporary additional space, to shifting beds within our systems to provide more critical care, even enrolling hundreds of doctors ready to focus on care during the surge.

As the number of COVID-19 cases climb in Florida, we encourage you to use the following resources for your top questions and concerns:

  • If you have questions about COVID-19 or wonder if you should be tested, call the free AdventHealth Coronavirus Information Line at 877-847-8747.
  • You can also find information at www.CoronaVirusSignsAndSymptoms.com.
  • Need to see a doctor? Schedule a free video visit from your home by downloading the AdventHealth app. During the video visit, the provider will ask questions to determine if you need a physician’s order for coronavirus testing and will help you with your medical need.
  • We also encourage you to visit trusted resources such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Florida Department of Health.

We have been overwhelmed by the community’s outpouring of support for our physicians, nurses, patients and overall COVID-19 efforts.  For ways you can help, including sending notes of encouragement to our caregivers, please visit https://www.adventhealth.com/coronavirus-resource-hub/ways-give-back.
