Has your business considered starting an apprenticeship program? Apprenticeships are a proven work-based learning model that helps train your workforce by learning new skills while working and helping your business prepare for future needs and growth.

Apprenticeships can occur across all industries, including health, manufacturing, information technology, business, and more. An established apprenticeship can help reduce turnover rates, increase productivity, lower the cost of recruitment, and increase safety in the workplace or job site.

Did you know for every dollar spent on Registered Apprenticeships; employers see an average return on investment of $1.50? Statistics show 97% of participating employers recommend Registered Apprenticeship as a training model.

To learn more about the value of apprenticeships, CareerSource Central Florida will host a workshop for employers, community partners and educators on Wednesday, May 3rd, from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Seminole State College – Heathrow campus to learn more about apprenticeship programs. The workshop will feature current apprenticeship programs and employers, sharing insights about the value and benefits of starting and maintaining a program. Register here.
