Join us for the Celebrating Leadership Luncheon—an inspiring event that brings together community and business leaders for an afternoon of connection, recognition, and professional growth. This special gathering offers a valuable opportunity to expand your network while celebrating the impact of leadership in West Orange.

This year we are proud to recognize and honor the 2025–2026 Leadership West Orange Class, made up of 33 accomplished professionals representing a diverse range of industries and organizations across our community as well as the inaugural class of our Emerging Leaders Institute, a program developed for professionals who are building and honing the skills, confidence, and connections needed to lead into the future.

Come celebrate their achievements and be part of a program that continues to shape and strengthen leadership in West Orange.

Thank you to our keynote speaker:

Damu Cherry-Mitchell is a former elite track and field athlete and Olympian who rose to national prominence as a 100-meter hurdler. A graduate of the University of South Florida, she earned All-American honors, set a school record in the 100-meter hurdles, and graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Exercise Science. Damu trained professionally for over a decade, competing globally, making three World Championship teams, and achieving a world ranking as high as third.

Today, she co-leads Star Athletics alongside her husband, fellow Olympian Dennis Mitchell, coaching world-class athletes while continuing her passion for mentorship, family, and global travel.
