Kaitlyn Fusco
Karst Media Group has named Kaitlyn Fusco as Associate Publisher of its Central Florida Lifestyle magazines.

In this new position, Fusco will oversee the production of the company’s eight hyperlocal magazines, grow the company through visionary strategies to increase and strengthen community relationships, build and brand Karst Media Group, manage client relations, and develop new out-of-the box ideas to provide its print and online readers and advertisers the highest community-focused content while increasing new business.

When we started Lifestyle Publications, almost 20 years ago, we knew our commitment to community would never waiver and Kaitlyn has that same passion,” said Kristi Karst Gomen, Karst Media Group CEO/Publisher.

Fusco most recently held the role of Communications Manager at The Florida Aquarium. Prior to that, she served as the Public Relations Manager of Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium.

Fusco earned her bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Central Florida. Over the past 10 years, she has gained experience in writing, editing, leading public relations and social media campaigns, supporting nonprofit fundraising, creating unique website content, establishing and maintaining stakeholder relationships, and increasing awareness, interest and community engagement for nonprofits.

“I’m excited to take on this new role with Karst Media Group,” said Fusco. “This company and its magazines are focused on everything I love – community, arts, culture, health, fun and family. I am most looking forward to meeting new people within the great community of Central Florida and telling their stories while shaping Karst Media Group as a go-to resource for our community.”

Fusco recently moved from Celebration to Lake Nona with her husband Nick, who is an emergency medicine physician at UCF Lake Nona Medical Center, and their twin girls.
