Community Update from Universal Parks & Resorts
Dear Community Leaders and Partners,
From the challenges of the pandemic, we have faced together some moments of inspiration. This is especially true when we reflect on how we have helped each other through it. Many community groups have found innovative ways to help those in need – often beyond pre-pandemic levels. At Universal Parks & Resorts, our team members have found innovative ways to help, too.
We are proud of our community partners – and our team members. Here in Orlando, our team members have helped donate even more food and supplies to local groups, found creative ways to help our partner schools, and used 3D printers to help make face shields for medical workers. The Universal Orlando Foundation also has awarded more than $1.6 million to local non-profits – just for COVID relief-related services and programs.
The video below celebrates and thanks to our community partners and team members – here in Orlando and around the globe.
And, if you have not done so, we invite you to view this video about our Affordable Housing initiative.
Following this inaugural issue of Universal Parks & Resorts Connect, we will send you periodic updates about what we do in the community as well as other Parks & Resorts initiatives. We’ll work to be respectful of your time – but if you want to opt-out, you can do so below or by emailing us at uprcorpcomm@universalorlando.com.
Thank you,
John Sprouls
