OCOEE, Fla.The City of Ocoee Human Relations Diversity Board is hosting a presentation titled “Fostering a Sense of Belonging” on Thursday, May 2 at 6:15 p.m. at City Hall, 1 North Bluford Avenue. The public is invited to attend the free event.

Guest speaker Kavita Sawh, with the UCF Ginsburg Center for Inclusion and Community Engagement, will discuss how creating a feeling of inclusivity and camaraderie is vital for every organization, team or community. This session on “Fostering a Sense of Belonging” has been developed to equip participants with the necessary knowledge, abilities and tactics to establish a more welcoming and inclusive environment. The next presentation in this speaker series will be held on Thursday, June 6 at City Hall.
