Dear Property Owner or Interested Individual:
The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise, will hold a Public Hearing for the above referenced project on Monday, August 7, 2023. The Enterprise will provide several options for participating in the hearing. You may attend virtually/online via a computer, tablet, smartphone, or by telephone in listen-only mode. Alternatively, you may participate in-person at Florida’s Turnpike Headquarters, Florida’s Turnpike Milepost 263, Turkey Lake Service Plaza Building 5315, Ocoee, Florida 34761.
The virtual Public Hearing will begin with a formal presentation at 12 p.m. (EDT), followed by a public comment period. The in-person Public Hearing will begin with an informal open house at 5:30 p.m. (EDT), continue with a formal presentation at 6 p.m., and conclude with a public comment period. For those unable to attend at these times, a recording of the webinar will be available on the project website after the Public Hearing.

This Public Hearing is being conducted to give interested persons an opportunity to express their views concerning the location, conceptual design, and social, economic, and environmental effects of the proposed improvements. This letter is being sent to all property owners and tenants within at least 300 feet on either side of the right of way of the proposed project and to public officials, regulatory agencies, organizations, and individuals interested in the project.
Persons wishing to submit written or verbal comments may do so at the hearing or may contact Project Manager Michael Leo. For assistance registering for the Public Hearing, or for additional information, please contact the Project Manager. All statements provided or postmarked on or before August 17, 2023, will become part of the Public Hearing record.
