Orange County Public Schools invites you to see and hear what it takes to educate our 206,000 children every school day, as well as study the support operations that go on behind the scenes of our front-line teachers.

We are now accepting applications for Class XI of our Leadership Orange program. Eight sessions from September through April (8:30 a.m – 2:00 p.m.) will cover topics such as:

  • How we teach and how students learn
  • School choice
  • Raising graduation rates
  • Exceptional Student Education: Gifted to Autism to physically impaired
  • Transporting and feeding tens of thousands daily
  • How business partners and volunteers help meet critical needs

While we hope this invitation will entice you to apply for our class, we do recognize that a colleague or associate may be interested in the program as well. Applications are transferable, so feel free to share with anyone you think would be interested.

Participants must be Orange County residents. OCPS employees are not eligible to apply.

Applications should be submitted by Aug. 16, 2021. Acceptance decisions will be made prior to Sept. 1, 2021. For those accepted into the program, there is a $250 enrollment fee to cover expenses, including breakfast and lunch for each session. Limited scholarships are available.

To apply, visit our website at http://www.leadership.ocps.net. For more information, call the OCPS Public Relations office at 407.317.3368.
