On January 25, 2022, the Orange County Transportation Sales Tax Referendum effort was relaunched after nearly a two-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic crisis.  The West Orange Chamber of Commerce has been closely monitoring this initiative.  To learn more about the Transportation Sales Tax Referendum, click here. 

On April 26, the Orange County Board of County Commissioners will have a Public Hearing.  Following a staff presentation and public hearing, the Board of County Commissioners will make the decision on whether or not to place the sales tax referendum on the November 8, 2022 ballot in order to allow the citizens to vote on the proposed transportation sales tax.
