Orlando Business Journal 40 under 40 Awards   Do you know any young professionals who stand out from the crowd? Orlando Business Journal is looking for 40 promising business executives and professionals under the age of 40 in our area. Nominate today!

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

Help Orlando Business Journal recognize those leaders in Central Florida who are under 40 years old.

The people who are recognized for this award will be the young men and women throughout the region who have played a key role in shaping our community. They have proven their potential by taking leadership roles in Orange, Seminole, Osceola, Lake, Volusia or Brevard counties, and have gone above and beyond in their respective positions. To be eligible, the nominee must be younger than age 40 on the day the 40 Under 40 special report publishes on June 5, 2020.

We will recognize 40 of these individuals.

To nominate, please provide detailed information about why the individual should be recognized. Candidates will be considered based on accomplishments such as:

  • Management of a special project or challenge
  • Results of innovating and/or launching a new product or service
  • Impactful local community involvement
  • Leadership in their industries

Being recognized as a 40 under 40 honoree in the past does not prevent one from being named again.

All fields are mandatory for submission. Only online nominations will be accepted. The number of nominations each person receives has no bearing, so no ballot stuffing, please.

Nomination deadline: April 9, 2020. Honorees will be featured in the June 5, 2020, issue of the Orlando Business Journal and honored at a June 4, 2020, event.

Please note: If selected as a finalist, candidates must attend the award ceremony and agree to be interviewed and photographed for the publication.

PRO TIP: Answer the nomination form questions first in a text document and save your answers. Then copy and paste your answers into the online form. This will come in handy if the online nomination form times out or technical issues prevent your answers from being submitted. We cannot send you a copy of your answers.

TIP: Please note that the contact information provided must be that of the nominee — not a public relations firm. Public relations firms nominating clients must provide the direct contact info for the nominee and should inform their clients of the nomination.
