The West Orange Chamber of Commerce Announces Its New President
WINTER GARDEN, FL. September 14, 2023 – This past summer, Stina D’Uva, the current President/CEO of the West Orange Chamber of Commerce, announced her retirement concluding a much-celebrated and appreciated 22 years of service to her beloved community. After a months-long nationwide search, it is with great pleasure that we ask you to join the West Orange Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, Executive Committee and Search Committee in welcoming our new President/CEO, Stephen Lewis, CAE. Stephen will be joining the WOCC team on October 2nd and will work alongside Stina throughout the month of October. On October 27th, Stephen will assume the title of President/CEO.
Prior to joining the West Orange Chamber of Commerce, Stephen served as the Director of Governance and Leadership for Associated Builders & Contractors (ABC). ABC is a national construction industry trade association representing more than 22,000 members.
Throughout his career, Stephen has worked in the Chapter Services Department of ABC National based in Washington, D.C. He was hired as a Field Manager in 2012, working primarily with the 12 chapters located in the Southeast Region of the United States. In 2013, Stephen transitioned into the Chapter Development Manager position, taking on a more active role in working with all 68 chapters nationwide. Since 2016, Stephen has served as the Director of Governance and Leadership.
Prior to his time with ABC National, Stephen served as the Membership Director for the ABC Central Florida Chapter, based in Orlando and as the Director of Government Affairs for the ABC North Florida Chapter based in Tallahassee.
Stephen graduated from Florida State University with a bachelor’s degree in political science and social Science, with a minor in communication and a master’s degree in political science. In 2018, Stephen earned the Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential, which is the marker of a committed association professional who has demonstrated the wide range of knowledge essential to managing a not-for-profit organization.
Stephen was born and raised in Apopka, and now resides in Windermere with his wife Amanda, daughter Hayden, and son Lawson. Outside of work, the Lewis family enjoys boating on the Butler Chain, staying active with the kids’ sports, and frequent visits to the theme parks!
