Healthy West Orange
The West Orange Chamber welcomes Matthew’s Hope and The Experience Christian Center as the newest Trustee Members
The West Orange Chamber of Commerce (WOCC) is pleased to welcome Matthew’s Hope and The Experience Christian Center as the two newest Trustee Members.
Matthew’s Hope Ministries, based in Winter Garden, is a fully Independent, faith-based, 501(c)3 non-profit homeless outreach ministry organization completely funded and supported by the local community, and exclusively serving west Orange County. Volunteers and staff members of Matthew’s Hope Ministries help connect guests with various resources and services of need. Most recently, Matthew’s Hope celebrated a ribbon cutting for the new Medical Home. The goal of the Medical Home is to provide preventive, routine, and triage care for medical and mental-health issues, reducing the inappropriate use of emergency rooms and urgent-care facilities for noncrisis situations. The leadership of Matthew’s Hope knows their investment to the highest level of membership within the Chamber will help to increase the awareness of their mission with fellow community leaders.
The Experience Christian Center also joined the Trustee Roster by investing at the Supporting Trustee level of membership. The Experience Christian Center is the church home to over 1,600 members and has served over 148,000 community members through various outreach efforts. The Experience Christian Center is committed to creating Godly Experiences. They are “Bigger Than a Sunday!”.
“We hope that by participating in the West Orange Chamber, we will build even greater community relationships and partnerships which will afford our ministry, The Experience Christian Center, the opportunity to serve even more in the West Orange community.” stated Bishop Derrick McRae.
