West Orange Chamber of Commerce Honors Outstanding Individuals at Big Orange Awards
On January 31, 2019, The West Orange Chamber of Commerce (WOCC) will be honoring the outstanding people and businesses in the West Orange community at their Big Orange Awards. The event will take place at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort; sponsored by Platinum Sponsor Walt Disney World Resorts, and Presenting Sponsor Orlando Health. Other sponsors include Duke Energy, Dawn Gilmore Productions, The Foundation for a Healthier West Orange, HAPCO Music Foundation and Empire Finish. The event will include a fun-filled interactive reception, a phenomenal dinner and a celebration of outstanding individuals and businesses in the West Orange Community.
All of the award winners, except for the Businesses Member of Year, were announced at the Chamber’s Member Celebration Brunch in December. The 2019 Award recipients are:

The Spirit of West Orange, the Mary VanDeventer Award – Ellen Korbin, Ellie Lou’s Brews & BBQ
Sam Hovsepian Award – Ken Harker; West Orange Healthcare District
Chairman’s Award – Dawn Willis; Orlando Health
Danniel J. Petro – The Bright Future of West Orange Award – Jim Karr; Land Plus
Lifetime Ambassador Award – Pat Gleason
Ambassador of the Year Award – Pam Birdsong; Proforma Albrecht & CO.
The Small & Big Business of the Year Awards will be announced live at the event.
