The Encore evening has been reimagined to ensure the health and safety of our guests, artists, staff, and volunteers. Following the main program, all Encore sponsors and guests at the Bronze and Platinum levels are invited to remain with us for an exclusive Question and Answer session with Ms. O’Hara.

In accordance with Garden Theatre safety protocols and the requirements of Ms. O’Hara and her team, guests will be required to wear a mask at all times while inside the Garden building.

Doors open for arrivals, red carpet photos, mingling, and a one-of-a-kind silent auction.

7:30 PM

A memorable night of songs and stories with Kelli O’Hara, a performance featuring Garden Theatre’s Daniel Mills Apprentices, and a paddle raise benefiting Garden Theatre programs and productions.

9:15 PM

An intimate questions and answer session with Ms. O’Hara exclusively for guests at the Bronze and Platinum levels, followed by a socially distanced photo opportunity. An array of take-home treats will enable guests to continue their celebration!

Stage and screen star Kelli O’Hara has established herself as one of Broadway’s greatest leading ladies. Her portrayal of Anna Leonowns in THE KING AND I garnered her the 2015 Tony Award for Best Leading Actress in a Musical, along with Grammy, Drama League, Outer Critics Circle, and Olivier Award nominations. Kelli’s numerous Broadway credits include KISS ME KATE, THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY, SOUTH PACIFIC, and THE LIGHT IN THE PIAZZA. She also received an Emmy nomination for her portrayal of Katie Bonner in the hit web series THE ACCIDENTAL WOLF. Kelli performs with the New York Philharmonic and Metropolitan Opera, and was awarded the prestigious Drama League Distinguished Achievement in Musical Theatre Award in 2019. 

Garden Theatre of Winter Garden celebrates its 14th anniversary during the 2021 – 2022 performance season. Originally built in 1935 as a single-screen cinema, the theatre was the first in Central Florida built for “talkies” and was a gathering place for locals to watch the latest newsreels and films of the day.  The building was restored to its former glory in 2008 and equipped for modern performance. The 295-seat Garden Theatre, with a current annual budget of $1.7 million, has grown to a thriving performing arts center serving regional audiences and artists with a year-round season of world-class live theatre, as well as movies, concerts, dance, special events, and an extensive arts education program.
