Event Details

Each year the West Orange Chamber of Commerce facilitates the “WOCC Education Awards”  for students in the West Orange County area. These awards are presented in the following categories: The Danniel J. Petro Scholarship, and Students of Achievement & Renown (S.O.A.R).

“Students of Achievement and Renown” (S.O.A.R.) is an award of merit, recognizing students who have shown initiative, good citizenship, commitment, and personal growth in the classroom.

The Danniel J. Petro Scholarship of the West Orange Foundation is funded by the generosity of the Petro Family Foundation and Duke Energy. 

This event attracts nearly 200 attendees from all over West Orange Count, and is by invitation only!
